Cleary Lake Regional Park will celebrate “Arbor Month” with a guided tree identification walk on Wednesday, May 7, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Participants will learn more about maples, white pines and oak trees located within the park and how to distinguish each species by their leaves, bark and growth patterns. Following the walk, a tree-themed game of bingo will be played.
The program is free and offered for children ages 5 to 11 when accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (763) 559-6700.
Cleary Lake Park is located at 18106 Texas Ave, Prior Lake, and is operated by Three Rivers Park District.
